Mai Osawa
She has long been fascinated by the old stone buildings of Britain and her aim is to experience what it must have been like to be a stone mason or an architect. Through her training as a set designer she learned the importance of ‘light’ and ‘dimensions’, and these are reflected in her work in which she create scenes without actors on to which the viewer can project their own stories and imagination.
