Carolyn Daunt

Carolyn Daunt is a graphic designer, artist and jewellery designer.

Since joining Reigate Art Studios last year Carolyn has been inspired by the local environment to create a series of treeline paintings using ink in jewel colours that blend and run into each other to form interesting shapes and natural forms.  She then works into the ink to form horizon lines of trees in silhouette. 

Born in Kent and growing up in Ireland she graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD) in Design Communications. She has recently returned to the UK after living and working abroad. Her design work has included consultancy for various United Nations Agencies as well as NGOs and private companies.

Carolyn’s  jewellery design focuses on creating beautiful treasured pieces from recycled sources. Inspired by nature the random shapes created can bring to mind other worldly flowers or sea creatures which are hand painted in jewel like colours.
